DORSET - MANCHESTER PUBLIC SAFETY STUDY:
Dorset-Manchester Public Safety Study OVERVIEW
On December 5, 2013 the Dorset Selectboard and Manchester Selectboard met in a joint meeting and approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that authorized a study of possible public safety and emergency services consolidation and collaboration. As part of the MOU the two towns organized a workgroup, comprised of stakeholders and citizens to help guide the discussion. In March of 2014 Dorset Town Meeting and Manchester Town Meeting approved the concept of the study and funding for the study.
