Dorset is home to a limited number of private internet providers, with different types of technology: Comcast, Consolidated Communications, VTel amongst others. 


Communications Union District:

Recently voters in Dorset approved to enter into the Southern Vermont Communications Union District (SOVTCUD), a joint effort of Towns in Bennington & Windham County to reach unserved and underserved internet customers in our communities. Recently the SOVTCUD recently grant funding to research and design pushing broadband to last mile customers in our area.
