| The Highway Department is saddled with the difficult and rewarding task of maintaining the nearly 40 miles of town roads. During the winter maintenance season it's not uncommon for members of the road crew to work 80+ hours in a week. The Town of Dorset is fortunate to have a road crew with an extensive knowledge of public works as well as mechanical and construction expertise. This allows the town to complete most tasks in house, which stretches the taxpayer dollar. | |
